Three foreigners are detained in Chandigarh with 204.86 grams of drugs

With the arrest of three foreign nationals who provided narcotics, police claimed today to have broken up an international drug conspiracy. On March 30, they were apprehended in possession of 204.86 grams of ice and amphetamine.

Three African nationals who used to give drugs to their customers in Chandigarh are reportedly bringing a huge amount of narcotics to be supplied to bars in Industrial Area, Phase I, according to a confidential report that the police got.

Near the Haryana Roadways workshop Plot No. 182, Industrial Area, Phase I, the police apprehended Frank Nwokeji, 42, Loua, 36, and Jack David llobi Tochukwu Devid, 42, all of whom are now residents of New Delhi. They also seized 204.86 grams of amphetamine from their hands. A registered case has been made under the NDPS Act. Frank Nwokeji had 65.13 grams of amphetamine found on him, Loua had 82.68 grams, and Jack David Ilobi Tochukwu Devid had 57.05 grams.

Prior to this, Sector 39 police officers had detained Loua in connection with a complaint filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. In 2019, 207 grams of heroin were found on him. Bail had him freed.

According to the investigation, the three entered India temporarily on medical or business visas before beginning to traffic in narcotics. Their passport was no longer valid. They paid their fellow citizens inexpensive prices for the medication, which they then supplied to their customers in Tricity at a premium price.
