Two polyclinics of ECHS for Hamirpur and Una

For the Hamirpur parliamentary seat, the Ministry of Defence has sanctioned the construction of two polyclinics under the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS). The two ECHS polyclinics would be located in the districts of Una and Hamirpur, respectively, in Bhoranj and Gagret.

While praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur said that the creation of the ECHS was a long-awaited desire of the region’s ex-servicemen.

According to Thakur, the polyclinics would help a great number of people since the majority of the constituency’s residents were employed in the Indian armed forces, ranging from jawans to generals.

He continued by saying that during the previous ten years, the government has made a number of actions to fortify the defense industry, such as establishing one rank, one pension, buying Rafael fighters to bolster national defense, and developing defense industry infrastructure domestically.
