Telangana is experiencing intense heatwave conditions, with temperatures in certain areas of the state rising beyond 44 degrees Celsius. Regarding Hyderabad, on Thursday, the high is predicted to be around 41 degrees Celsius, while the low will be roughly 28 degrees Celsius.
The highest point is Nidamanoor in Nalgonda, which records a scorching 44.8 degrees Celsius.
The second-hottest places are Aswapuram in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Munagala in Suryapet, Nampalle in Nalgonda, and Ayyagaripalle and Garla in Mahabubabad district, all of which recorded a maximum temperature of 44.7 degrees Celsius, according to data from the Telangana State Development Planning Society.
With a further two to three degree Celsius rise in maximum temperatures expected over the next four days, the Hyderabad Meteorological Office has issued a yellow advisory for numerous districts.
On April 18, it is predicted that there will be isolated areas of heatwave conditions in the districts of Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad. Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad districts are included in the prediction for April 19.
Furthermore, throughout the course of the next five days, the Meteorological Office predicts mild to moderate rain or thundershowers in a few scattered locations across Telangana, providing some respite from the unrelenting scorching.
In the meanwhile, Hyderabad residents were relieved of the sweltering heat as the nighttime weather turned nice. The residents were relieved of the unbearable heat by isolated, light rainfall that were accompanied by overcast sky and calm breezes.
