Woman Arrested for Not Paying for Her Stay at a Luxurious Hotel in Delhi

Authorities announced on Wednesday that a 37-year-old lady had been detained after they said she had stayed for 15 days without paying for accommodations in a five-star hotel in Aerocity, close to the airport. She allegedly assaulted them and attempted to run away when the hotel personnel inquired about the payment.

They stated that the lady, who was identified as Jhansi Rani Samuel from Andhra Pradesh, had made the hotel reservation on December 13.

Authorities at the Pullman Hotel allegedly complained to a police officer that Samuel had paid for hotel services using illegal means.

When they asked her for payment, they said she tried to run away and tried to manhandle the personnel.

According to the official, the IGI Airport Police Station has received a report of cheating under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The officer also said that the lady was taken into custody and questioned.
