“He has changed,” praises Suryakumar Yadav, calling him “Riyan Parag 2.0.”

NEW DELHI: After falling to 90/4 in 13.3 overs, the Rajasthan Royals rallied from the front with a stunning performance of unbeaten 84 off 45 balls, lifting their team to 185/5 against the Delhi Capitals.
The pinnacle of Parag’s batting came when he blasted 25 runs off Anrich Nortje’s final over of the game. After hitting two fours in a row to start the over, Parag smashed a six.
Maintaining his aggressive style, he added to Nortje’s problems by scoring four more and six more on the next deliveries.

Mumbai Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav praised Parag for his spectacular knock, pointing out that it confirmed what he had predicted when he saw him at NCA a few weeks before.
“A few weeks ago, I met a man at NCA. He arrived with a little ache. focusing on his talents with tremendous discipline and wholehearted emphasis on his recuperation. It was also appropriate for me to tell one of the coaches present, “He is a changed guy.” RIYAN PARAG 2.0. Be careful,” Surya wrote on X.

Speaking about the suffering he inflicted on Nortje in the last over at the mid-inning break, Parag said that the exercise had now begun to pay off.
Behind the scenes, a lot of preparation led to this outcome. I practiced against a lot of those balls and was able to execute the strokes tonight, so it’s not the bowler; it’s the ball he’s delivering. I’ve been practicing having my choices available on both sides of the wicket recently. I believe in myself; I can knock sixes off of short balls and dig out yorkers. It doesn’t always work out, but occasionally it does,” he said.
