“I am the only guy after Sakshi bhabhi,” taunts MS Dhoni Ravindra Jadeja

NEW DELHI: MS Dhoni is renowned for his composed temperament on the pitch, never letting his emotions get the better of him. Nevertheless, the IPL final of the previous year revealed the darker side of “Captain Cool,” as his emotions flared up when Ravindra Jadeja led CSK to their fifth IPL championship.

With 10 runs needed off the last two balls in the contest disrupted by rain, CSK found themselves in a tight position in the decisive 15th and final over.

Then, with a six and a four off medium-pacer Mohit Sharma, the seasoned Jadeja swung the balance to his team’s advantage.
Fans will never forget what happened next, as they saw Dhoni hugging and praising Jadeja for an incredible performance.
Jadeja made him laugh as he recalled the incident at the promotional event on Thursday, joking that he was likely the only person Dhoni hoisted after his wife, Sakshi Dhoni.
“I think I am the only guy who was lifted by Mahi bhai after Sakshi bhabhi,” Jadeja remarked, causing everyone to erupt into laughter.
Jadeja’s batting performance was also praised by Dhoni, who expressed his complete faith in him due to his skill and mindset for reaching the goal.

“And in this case as well, you know I was quite sure Jaddu had the skill and attitude to reach the goal. Once again, however, there’s no guarantee that this will occur. It was a really remarkable half-hour. You are aware of the few sixes he smashed before the last ball. I believe they were very challenging.
Although it seems simple when watching on TV, I can now tell how difficult it is to get that level of height and win it for six. Additionally, everyone is under pressure at the same moment. Both the opponent and ourselves are interested in winning. Everyone is working really hard. I’m very happy we came out on top. And there was a great deal of emotion. Thus, a hearty round of applause for Jaddu’s batting performance.”
In 2008, the first season of the league, Ravindra Jadeja joined the Rajasthan Royals and was dubbed a “rockstar” by the late Shane Warne.
