In response to Kapil Dev’s remark that “India Players are arrogant,” Ravindra Jadeja said, “There is no personal agenda”

Flamboyant India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja responded to remarks made previously by legendary World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev, who said that the contemporary Indian players had become conceited. Dev said that players had become haughty as a result of the game’s excessive financial investment.

After making a major comment against the Indian players, Dev, who is quite outspoken about his beliefs and opinions, caught everyone’s attention.

“Arrogance may sometimes appear when there is an abundance of money. These cricketers think they are experts, according to Kapil Dev.

But before to the third One-Day International between India and the West Indies, Jadeja categorically rejected it. The great all-rounder voiced his viewpoint in a humble manner, saying that previous players have a right to speak their views but that the Indian squad does not own any conceit.

I’m not sure when he stated this. These are not searches I do on social media. See, everyone has a different viewpoint. Ex-players are completely entitled to express their opinions, but I don’t believe this squad is inflated,” Jadeja told reporters before to the series finale.

No one is taking anything for granted when it comes to playing for the squad, according to Jadeja, who said that the players are giving it their all on the field.

“Everyone is working hard and enjoying their game of cricket. Nothing has been taken for granted by anybody. They are giving all they have, he said.

Regarding Dev’s criticism, Jadeja said that there was no personal motivation in the matter since such remarks from former players often come after India loses a game.

Such remarks are often made after an Indian team defeat. This is a fantastic collection of lads, a solid team. There is no personal motive; our primary goal is to promote India, he said.

In the second ODI, India lost to West Indies by a crushing margin of six wickets without the services of senior talents Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. For the series finale in Trinidad, the pair is anticipated to revert to their starting lineup. It would be intriguing to watch whether Rohit will start again or if India will stick with their innovative strategy at the top with Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill.
