When Hardik Pandya is jeered, Sonu Sood says, “It’s not them, it’s us who fail,” urging everyone to have respect for players

In the 2024 IPL, the Mumbai Indians have lost both of their games so far, and all-rounder Hardik Pandya has received unfavourable feedback in both Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. The five-time champions have not had a good start to the season.

Every time former MI captain Rohit Sharma stood close to the boundary while fielding or after leaving, the fans would jeer, taunt, and sing his name.
Given that the Mumbai Indians administration didn’t handle the situation well overall and that Hardik has been made a vulnerable target, the animosity has been unbelievable. Even if Hardik isn’t expressing it, he will be thinking about it all the timeā€”he’s the new captain, taking over for a five-time champion, and he can’t concentrate on the task at hand, whether it’s batting or fielding. Actor and social activist Sonu Sood from Bollywood has now advised everyone to show respect for their players since jeering indicates that the audience and spectators are the ones who have failed more than the players.

“We need to show our guys respect. Players who brought honour to our nation and made us proud. You support them one day and boo them the next. On Friday, March 29, Sood said on Twitter (now X): “It’s not them; it’s us who fail.””I adore playing cricket. I adore every cricket player who plays for my nation. Whichever franchise he plays for is irrelevant. It makes no difference whether he is a team captain or their fifteenth player. They are our heroes.

For the Mumbai Indians, the succession and the transition may not have happened as everyone would have preferred. But Hardik is still the finest player available for India, and in two months, he will be among the most crucial players for India at the T20 World Cup 2024. Everyone will hope that he doesn’t let this affect him.
