According to the BCCI, fans will have one “last chance” to purchase World Cup 2023 semi-final and final tickets when the sale opens on Thursday, November 9 at 8 p.m. IST on the official ICC website (which will lead users to Book My Show). These tickets are the last batch available for the semifinals and championship game. “As the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 reaches its business end, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will release a final batch of tickets on Thursday,” the BCCI said in a statement.
“On November 9 at 8:00 PM, the tickets will be available on cricketworld.com, the official ticketing website. For cricket fans who wish to feel the joy and excitement of the World Cup and see firsthand the crowning of a new champion, this will be their final opportunity,” the announcement said.
The first semi-final takes place in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on November 15 while the second semi-final takes place at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on November 16. The grand final is slated to happen on November 19 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
With the confirmation of Australia, South Africa, and India as semifinalist, ticket demand is predicted to soar. The BCCI and ICC have received a lot of flak for their poor handling of the ticket sales. This will be the last test for them and the site Book My Show.
