Sanctum Sanctorum of Ram Temple Complete; Idol Consecration to Take Place Between January 16 and 24

According to a senior official of the temple trust, Ram Lalla will be dedicated between January 16 and 24 following Makar Sankranti, and the Ram Temple in Ayodhya’s sanctum sanctorum is complete and ready.

Ram Lalla’s consecration will take place after the completion of the temple’s first level, according to Champat Rai, general secretary of the Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Rai, who came here on Sunday, met with saints and seers and gave them an update on the building of the temple. Additionally, he invited them to the Ram Lalla’s 10-day Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony at Ayodhya.

After years of disagreement, Ram Lalla will soon be seated in his magnificent temple in Ayodhya, fulfilling the desire of millions of Ram enthusiasts, according to Rai.

“The idol of Ram Lalla will be consecrated in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on any date between January 16 and 24, 2024 after Makar Sankranti,” Rai said.

He continued by saying that the first level roof of the two-story temple has 80 percent of its work finished. After the first level is built, the dedication of the temple will take place, he stated.

Construction work will go on when worshippers are receiving darshan at the temple, according to Rai, who stressed that this won’t pose any problems.

Saints and seers are presently receiving verbal invites, he said, adding that official invitations would be given them in November.

He stated that seers from different national traditions will be invited to the Pran Pratishtha ritual.

Mahant Ravindra Puri, the president of the Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, advised all saints, seers, and followers of Lord Ram to attend the consecration event.

Puri expressed his wish for Narendra Modi to win the forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and retake the position of Prime Minister so that “India could continue on its path of development.”
