Six People Dead in Road Accident in Ballia, UP; Two Children Among Themselves

Lucknow: Officials informed news agency ANI on Tuesday that two automobiles and a pickup truck were involved in a traffic collision in the Ballia region of Uttar Pradesh that resulted in at least six fatalities and several injuries. The victims included two toddlers. At 3:30 AM, the event was reported.

Several persons were hurt in an accident that occured close to Ballia’s Bairiya police station when a pickup truck and two cars collided. Ballia SP Dev Ranjan Verma provided information, stating that the victims encountered the accident while returning from a function. After being taken to the hospital, the wounded are now receiving care.

Similar Traffic Accident Events Close to Ballia
A vehicle and a motorbike collided in January 2023 in a similar event that claimed two lives and injured one. On the Gorakhpur-Ballia highway, the event took place at night in the Ubhaon region close to Narla village.

According to the police, the victims were named as Ankit (19) and Chandan (20). Amar was taken to the hospital immediately after the neighborhood residents assembled.

In another incident that happened in November 2018, 45 persons were injured after an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus crashed into a roadside tree.

According to reports, the bus had a mechanical malfunction and crashed into a roadside tree in the afternoon. On the festival of “Kartik Purnima,” several were hurt while traveling from Doharighat to Ballia for a sacred bath in the Ganga river.
