Uttar Pradesh: A building fall in Muzaffarnagar left two people dead and seventeen wounded

In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday, the roof of a building that was still under construction fell, leaving up to two laborers dead and 17 wounded, according to authorities.

The authorities said that 19 laborers who were buried under the rubble of the market building were extricated by the rescuers and the local police. They did, however, disclose that two people passed away from their wounds.

In the hospital, the wounded are receiving care.

According to the authorities, the event happened in Talda village, which is within the jurisdiction of Jansath police station, when many laborers were working inside the home.

In relation to the event, two people have been taken into custody: the contractor and the landlord.

“Authorities have apprehended two suspects, including the landlord and contractor, in connection with the incident, which occurred as a result of the market building collapsing in the Jansath police station vicinity,” stated the official.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took notice of the event and gave the administration instructions to make sure that the wounded received the best care possible and that the people who were stranded were safely rescued.
