After mistaking it for a kitten, a girl accidentally raises the Black Panther

Recently, Victoria, a Russian lady, gained notoriety for saving and rearing a stray animal. An unusual friendship between a person and a panther has developed out of what once seemed to be a straightforward instance of mistaken identification. Victoria found the kitten in the bush close to Siberia, defenseless and abandoned. She assumed the creature was a household cat and took care of it out of concern for its welfare. She had no idea that she had just helped Luna, a newborn panther born in a Siberian zoo, survive.

Luna’s early years were difficult and unknown since her own mother had mysteriously rejected her, depriving her of necessary care and sustenance. As Victoria took care of the vulnerable animal, blissfully oblivious to the actual nature of her new feline buddy, her maternal instincts took over.

Luna’s condition gradually got better, and she started acting more like a black panther. Victoria had gotten quite close to the little panther and refused to let go of her, not being discouraged by the fact.

Victoria posted about Luna’s travels and created the @Luna_the_pantera TikTok account. The website immediately acquired popularity, accumulating millions of likes and views from enthralled social media users all around the globe.

It’s important to keep in mind that, despite Luna’s beautiful appearance, panthers are wild creatures with unpredictable tendencies. If not handled carefully, they might constitute a danger due to their strong build and cutting claws. However, compared to her wild peers, Luna is more submissive because of her domestic upbringing.

A Chinese family found themselves in an odd predicament when the lovely puppy they believed they had adopted turned out to be a bear, not a dog, according to India Times, in another but related news item that drew everyone’s attention.

Su Yun, a resident of Yunnan Province, who lives close to Kunming, bought what she thought was a Tibetan mastiff puppy while on vacation in 2016. Male Tibetan mastiffs may weigh up to 150 pounds, and they are distinguished by their huge stature and thick black and brown coats.

Su’s astonishment quickly gave way to dread when her purported ‘puppy’ began acting strangely, such as walking on two legs. It became more and more clear as time went on that this was no ordinary dog.

According to Su, who spoke to Chinese media, “The more he grew, the more like a bear he looked,” she said that she had first had some misgivings about bears.

Su made the decision to call the neighborhood police out of concern for the security of her family. Their examination supported what had already become clear: Su’s ‘dog’ was really an Asiatic black bear, a rare and endangered species.
