In Just Three Minutes, Blinkit Delivers Gujiya Mould; CEO Albinder Dhindsa Responds

Quick commerce, or Q-commerce, has taken off in the past few years as e-commerce has established a strong presence in the Indian market thanks to rivalries between platforms like Blinkit and Zepto. Blinkit is an online grocery shop that specializes in providing delivery to places in a matter of minutes, giving consumers great convenience from the comfort of their homes. Blinkit, which is renowned for its speedy delivery of necessities and groceries, has set a new record by completing a delivery in under three minutes.

An entrepreneur from Bengaluru recently ordered a gujiya mold from Blinkit, and to his amazement, it arrived in excellent form in only three minutes! He was taken aback by the quick delivery.

Tanay Srivastava, a user on social media, expressed gratitude for the firm and offered facts about it. He also spoke about how the record delivery time affected his perception of the business. Tanay shared images of the order description along with an image of his mother making gujiyas in the kitchen using the mold that Blinkit sent.

“Mom cracked her Gujia mold. I couldn’t rush to acquire one right away. purchased using Blinkit. It came in three freaking minutes. This is an operational excellence level. Two years ago, I thought Blinkit’s functionality was lacking. Viewpoint shifted,” he wrote.

Although the post quickly attracted a lot of attention, Albinder Dhindsa, the creator of Blinkit, also responded to it and entered the discussion. We’re glad we could alter your viewpoint! In the comments, he said, “Happy Holi to you and the family.

The tweet has received a lot of likes in addition to having received over 8,000 views so far. “Blinkit took its name way too seriously,” a commenter said.

The 65-second delivery from Swiggy

Recently, several instances of prompt delivery have become more popular on the internet. A package of instant noodles was delivered by Swiggy Instamart earlier in 2023 in an astoundingly short amount of time—just 65 seconds. Commencing in February, Flipkart has included free same-day delivery of items across many categories, following in the footsteps of Blinkit, Swiggy, Instamart, and Zepto.

The service would be made accessible in 20 cities at first, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati, Ludhiana, Nagpur, Siliguri, Vijayawada, and Coimbatore, according to the business.
