Introducing YouTuber Cody Don, the Man Who Consumes Lethal Substances While Recording

One of the most lethal substances is cyanide. It may impede the body’s use of oxygen when ingested. Depending on the amount ingested, cyanide poisoning symptoms might start to show up anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. Anyone would, of course, avoid this toxic substance.

However, Cody Reeder, a YouTube phenomenon, educator, and amateur scientist from America, does not. Renowned scientist Cody Don Reeder, a resident of Grantsville, Utah, is well-known for doing scientific research on his Cody’s Lab YouTube channel. In 2016, he made waves in the media when he uploaded a video of himself sipping water that had trace quantities of cyanide in it. He aimed to demonstrate how the lethal chemical’s dose determined how hazardous it was.

He drank water containing 17 milligrams of cyanide. He claimed to have symptoms like fast breathing shortly after drinking. Cody reportedly issued a warning to others not to do this at home or mimic his behavior. He went on to say that it may be lethal, noting that a person can be killed by 300 milligrams of cyanide. He had his video taken off the channel. In related tests, he inhaled all the noble gases while drinking hydric acid and heavy water.

When Cody Reeder signed up for YouTube in 2011, he started sharing his experiments there for his grandma to see. He clarified in an interview that he would often conduct scientific tests before others began to see them. October 2015 saw a one lakh subscriber increase on his channel. After waiting six months for the silver play button from YouTube, he constructed a DIY play button made of real silver to commemorate reaching 2.5 lakh followers. He gained more and more views and soon became the talk of the town.

In addition to cyanide, the guy has attempted to stand on liquid mercury as an experiment. He ended up floating “above the bottom of the container” as a consequence. He’s eaten gold, too. In addition, he attracted a lot of media attention when he was named one of the 100 finalists for the now-canceled Mars One program.
