Results for HDFC AMC Q2: Net Profit Increases 20% YoY To Rs 436.5 Crore, Revenue Increases 18%

The HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) said on Thursday that its net profit for the three months ending in September 2023 increased by 20% year over year (YoY) to Rs 436.5 crore. In comparison between July 2022 to September 2023, its income increased by 18.1% to Rs 643.1 crore from Rs 544.7 crore.

In the same time the previous year, HDFC AMC reported a net profit of Rs 363.8 crore.

Compared to the same period last year, its operational profit for the second quarter of FY24 was Rs 467 crore, up from Rs 388.9 crore.

“For the quarter ended September 30, 2023, actively managed equity-oriented QAAUM, or equity-oriented QAAUM excluding index funds, was at Rs 2,861 billion with a market share of 12.4%. According to HDFC AMC’s presentation, the AMC is one of the biggest actively managed equity-oriented mutual fund managers in the nation.
