Actress Tirrtha, who plays Veer Savarkar, says she loves to wear a Nauvari saree on Gudi Padwa

Actress Tirrtha talks about her love of Gudi Padwa, having last been seen in the movie Swatantra Veer Savarkar. “Every year, my mom buys a new saree and puts it on the Gudi, signifying the beginning of the New Year,” the woman said.

The actress talks about how, when she was a child, Gudi Padwa was a time for family get-togethers and the excitement of fresh beginnings.

Since my grandparents used to reside with us, Gudi Padwa has always been a time for family, the woman said. We took the celebration extremely seriously since it signaled the start of the new year. When my grandpa would begin to make the Gudi, we would all gather around him. I picked up the custom when he passed away, and I now create the Gudi at my home.
The Nauvari saree is a pleasure for the actress to wear. “I wear a Nauvari saree on Gudi Padwa,” she said. A significant yearly tradition for my mother also involves purchasing a new saree and hanging it on the Gudi to mark the beginning of a new year. I am then handed this saree. “Getting a new web show is on my wishlist for the New Year,” she said. This year, I’m aiming to accomplish my career ambitions and get a decent position.”
Tirrtha has contributed to Hindi, Marathi, and Telugu cinema. “It was a learning experience,” she remarked, going into more detail about her part in Swatantra Veer Savarkar. I portray Yeshu Vahini, the brother’s wife of Veer Savarkar. It was a pleasure working with Ankita Lokhande and Randeep Hooda, and I’m delighted the movie has struck a chord with the general public.”
