After Palakkad supporters go crazy, director Lokesh Kanagaraj is hurt

The blockbuster Tamil action thriller “Leo” director Lokesh Kanagaraj was hurt on his leg on Tuesday while participating in a promotion for his movie at a Palakkad theater.

When Kanagaraj arrived at the theater, there was already a sizable gathering of admirers waiting to see the director.

He intended to return later that day. He was in the state to promote the movie in Palakkad, Trissur, and Kochi.

However, his preparations backfired when the fans became hysterical and raced to get near to the director to snap photos, causing a stampede.

As soon as the cops began pursuing the spectators, Kanagaraj’s leg was hurt in the commotion.

The cops struggled mightily to maintain order while doing so.

After suffering the injuries, Kanagaraj decided against traveling to Trissur and Kochi and instead made his way back to Chennai.

To promote the Vijay starrer, he has stated he would go back to Kerala.
