April Fool’s Day: Funny film set pranks by celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, and others

Camera, lights, and laughing! Bollywood is more than simply flashy dance sequences and poignant monologues. In addition to being well-known jokers, these A-list celebrities whom we see on film also maintain a vibrant backlot. Prepare to meet the humorous masterminds of Hindi film as we celebrate Fools Day today! From complex set-ups to sharp wit!

Abhishek Bachchan:

During the song release ceremony of “Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se,” Abhishek Bachchan chose to pull a cheeky practical joke on his spouse, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. After he led her to what he said was their “hotel room,” Aishwarya was shocked to open the door and see shocked guys on the other side of the men’s lavatory. Aishwarya laughed at the whole thing after realising what a hilarious turn of events her husband had pulled off.

Ranbir Kapoor:

For “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin had a vodka shot sequence that they were supposed to film. Usually, there would be water in the shot cups rather than alcohol. But Ranbir Kapoor was thinking of doing something else. During the scene, the actor decided to pull a practical joke on his co-stars by really filling the shot glasses with vodka. It’s debatable whether it was a well performed practical joke or an effort to support acting techniques.

Amir Khan

Although he is well-known for his painstaking attention to detail, renowned actor Aamir Khan also enjoys playing tricks. During “Dangal,” Aamir staged a really smart practical joke in which he pretended to pour piping hot coffee on his co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh. Fatima’s response, startled by what seemed to be an imminent burn, brought a little humour to the scene. Another time, Aamir played a more unusual hoax in which he pretended to be able to read palm prints. But rather than imparting esoteric knowledge, he hilariously ended the performance by spitting in the unwary person’s palm and then scurrying out, leaving them perplexed by his playful antics.

Ajay Devgn

Considering how often Ajay Devgn has portrayed strong, stoic action heroes on cinema, it may seem unlikely that he would play a practical joker. But in “Singham Returns,” the actor shocked everyone by collaborating with Rohit Shetty to plan a remarkable practical joke on the whole cast and crew. By arranging for a spot boy to wear a white garment and run about, Devgn skillfully persuaded the team that the location of the shot was haunted. This added an additional degree of spookiness to the scene. Excellent work, Ajay!

Akshay Kumar:

Let’s begin with the Bollywood comedy master. Famous for his amazing roles in many hilarious comedies, Akshay Kumar is also well-known for his love of pulling practical pranks. Actors Huma Qureshi, Mouni Roy, and Siddharth Malhotra are among his targets. During the production of “Gold,” he pulled off a famous prank on Mouni Roy by posing as a reporter and obtaining unique information about the movie. Another time, he slyly stole Huma Qureshi’s phone and set up a slew of alleged marriage proposals from her to prominent Bollywood figures.
