Before making her Salman Khan debut in 1991, Raveena turned down “five films.”

Actress Raveena Tandon said that before her 1991 breakthrough role costarring Salman Khan in Patthar Ke Phool, she had turned down five offers of roles. Before taking her first job, the actress said that she had been approached by many studios about films. On Kiska Brand Bajega, Raveena said, “I had already said no to five films before that.” Raveena expressed her excitement over this offer, along with that of her friends. “Guess who I got offered a film with?” they asked. “Salman Khan,” I said. “All my friends were like, ‘Yayyy,'” she exclaimed as she entered the campus cafeteria.

The actress went on to say that it was a relatively short process to go from accepting the picture to beginning production. “So I said yes,” stated Raveena. I shot a picture session with Salman the next day, and I was shooting on the third.

The plot of Patthar Ke Phool, which was written and directed by Salim Khan, centers around a young police officer who falls in love with the daughter of a mobster at first sight. Following Patthar Ke Phool, Raveena and Salman collaborated on a number of films, such as Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, Andaz Apna Apna, and others.
