Box office receipts for “Lal Salaam”: Rajinikanth’s movie mints Rs 14.28 crores

Despite receiving negative reviews, Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial debut, “Lal Salaam,” has managed to amass an amazing Rs 14.28 crores. The movie debuted on February 9 and had a strong first few days of business, grossing an estimated Rs 14.16 Crores in the first six days.

However, as the week went on, the box office momentum slowed down a little, as seen by the Rs 12 lakhs India net collection on the film’s seventh day in all languages, according to the Sacnilk website. Industry experts estimate that “Lal Salaam” would make more above Rs 12 crores in its final seven-day receipts, albeit this amount is not set in stone.

With receipts of Rs 1.19 crores on each of the film’s fifth and sixth days, the movie’s entire India net profits of Rs 14.14 crores were greatly boosted. On the fifth day, the movie had a 15.37 percent Tamil occupancy and an 11.04 percent Telugu occupancy, demonstrating its popularity in the area.
“Lal Salaam,” which stars the renowned Rajinikanth as Moideen Bhai, explores the difficulties experienced by budding cricket players who are wrongfully cut from the squad despite their skill. The story is centered on their will to overcome obstacles and achieve their aspirations to play cricket. On February 9, the film debuted on large screens.
