She continued by revealing more about the same, saying, “We didn’t even know what a VSD is. A ventricular septal defect is present. We experienced a tumultuous time. We didn’t talk about this with our family since we were both a little bit disoriented. Me and Karan wanted to rejoice, but we were both feeling a bit numb. We’ve had an extremely rough first five months. Devi, though, has excelled from the start. We were instructed to do a scan once a month to see if the wound is naturally healing. However, because to the size of the hole she had, we were informed that it was unlikely she would survive without undergoing surgery. The optimal time to do the procedure is when the infant is three months old.

“How can you subject a kid to open heart surgery,” she said, “when you feel so sad, so burdened, and so conflicted? People like us who are believers strive to materialize it with our thoughts that it would start mending on its own. Something natural will happen. It didn’t occur in the first month, and it didn’t occur in the second month. And I recall that by the third month, when we went for the scan, I had pretty well completed all of the research, had talked to surgeons, visited hospitals, and interacted with medical professionals. Karan, however, was not prepared. She had to be OK, and I knew she would be alright. She is currently ok. The difficult choice, though, was to have your kid operated on at the proper time and location.

Bipasha concluded by revealing that the procedure really took place and lasted six hours. The actress said that the moment their daughter entered the operating room, her life had stopped. She added that the procedure had been a success, and Devi was recovering well.
