Day 17 Box Office Earnings for Madgaon Express vs. Swatantrya Veer Savarkar: Kunal Khemu’s Comedy Takes the Lead With Rs 0.05 Crore

Madgaon Express, directed by Kunal Kemmu, and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, directed by Randeep Hooda, both had their film debuts on the same day and got off to a sluggish start. But in the days that followed, they gradually saw a surge in sales. Now that Kunal Khemu’s comedy is in the lead, both are moving at a slower rate.

The Randeep Hooda-directed film made Rs 1.05 crore when it began, but Kunal Kemmu’s film overtook it by the end of the first week. For the former, the overall Hindi occupancy rate on Sunday was 38.70%, whilst for the latter, it was 36.71 percent.
