Did you know that Taapsee Pannu’s buddy created every wedding dress she wore? Actor makes a significant disclosure

Numerous celebrities in the film business tied the knot this year. While some celebrities, like Taapsee Pannu, tied the knot with much fanfare, others did not get much attention from social media. The actor’s marriage has long been rumored, but the exact date was never disclosed. Taapsee Pannu and her husband Mathias’ wedding video went popular on social media around Holi in March. People learned about their marriage as a result. In March, the pair had traveled to Rajasthan’s stunning city of Udaipur.

Actor Taapsee Pannu spoke about her wedding day about a month after it happened. Taapsee firstly disclosed the rationale for keeping her wedding completely secret. “Not sure if I want to open my personal life to the kind of scrutiny that happens.” Subsequently, the actress discussed her Danish wedding, her attire, and several other specifics.

For what reason did Taapsee dress up for the wedding?

Taapsee Pannu recently explained why, on her wedding day, she chose to wear traditional salwar kameez and juttis rather than a lehenga. “I grew up seeing Sikh and Gurudwara weddings, so to me, the traditional notion of marriage was always dressed in a traditional red salwar kameez paired with a golden-bordered dupatta. It’s the only way I know a bride to look like a bride, so seeing myself getting all dolled up in pastel-colored lehengas didn’t seem like the atmosphere of a true wedding,” Pannu said. The Dunki star wore her grandmother’s jewelry to her wedding, she also said.

Who created the wedding dress?

Did you know that Taapsee Pannu’s buddy created every wedding dress she wore? “I wanted to keep it extremely quiet since there is a very high risk of news being leaked when a prominent celebrity is involved. I wanted all of my clothes to be created by my college buddy Mani Bhatia. I wanted to dance a lot at every event, therefore I didn’t wear a lehenga the whole wedding,” Taapsee said.

For her Haldi ceremony, Taapsee donned a kurta and a classic Punjabi lungi that brought back memories of the look from “DDLJ (Dulhania Le Jayenge).” The star said that she wore bell-bottom slacks with a blinged-out top and blazer that included just diamond solitaires for the sangeet.
