Family teaser: Vinay Forrt’s film seems like a powerful drama

Following the success of his highly praised movie “Aattam,” Vinay Forrt is back and ready to wow viewers with a powerful performance in the gripping thriller “Family.”

Set against the picturesque background of Idukki and directed by Don Palathara, the movie’s trailer was unveiled in Kochi by renowned Hindi director Anurag Kashyap, who was joined by Anna Ben and ‘Aattam’ director Anand Ekarshi.

A conversation between two villagers about a leopard’s actions in a high-range locale starts the trailer. There is a touch of mystery in the images, which show a girl waiting by herself in a field with a few goats close by. The narrator describes how the village’s animals, including chickens and calves, are impacted by the leopard’s assaults. Upon their introduction, the characters portrayed by Vinay Forrt, Mathew Thomas, and others have an aura of mystery.

Crafted by Don Palathara and Sherin Catherine, ‘Family’ aims to delve into the complexities of society connections via an emotionally charged story. With an impressive cast that includes Divya Prabha and Vinay Forrt, as well as great performances from Mathew Thomas, Nilja K Baby, Aarsha Baiju, Jane Andrews, Jolly Chirayath, Sajitha Madathil, and Abhija Sivakala, the film is expected to produce a compelling drama.
In the meanwhile, Vinay Forrt made his feature film debut in the drama “Aattam,” which garnered positive reviews.
