Heartwarming Films ‘Dangal’ To ‘Angrezi Medium’ That Describe The Father-Daughter Bond

A girl’s father is the first hero she ever had. A devoted father provides his daughter with knowledge, protection, and direction in addition to supplying a sympathetic ear. Bollywood has a number of films that elegantly depict the relationship between a father and daughter. This weekend, watch these movies with your father, from “Dangal” to “Angrezi Medium.”

‘Dangal’
This Nitesh Tiwari-directed film illustrates the wonders that may happen when a father defies patriarchy to empower his daughters despite all difficulties. It was inspired by the actual tale of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Along with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, Aamir Khan played a difficult part that needed him to grow and lose weight. The movie is an homage to a father’s unrelenting commitment to teach his daughters wrestling against society pressures and criticism. The movie, which was produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, and Siddharth Roy Kapur, is now streaming on Netflix.

‘Paa’
A father-son relationship is the focus of this film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, and Abhishek Bachchan, with a special twist: the son has a rare genetic disease that accelerates his aging. While Abhishek Bachchan plays the father (Amol Arte), Amitabh plays the son (Auro). The film, which was directed by R Balki, depicts Auro’s years spent being raised by his mother and grandmother as well as what transpires when his father unexpectedly enters the picture. You may view the movie on Netflix, Hotstar, and Voot. Sunil Manchanda, Abhishek Bachchan, and others produced it.

In “Baap Manus”
‘Baap Manus’ is a Gujarati comedy film that was directed by Yogesh Phulphagar and produced by Anand Pandit. It examines the bond between a single father and his little daughter as they depend on one another to face life’s hardships. Along with child actress Keya Ingle, the movie’s lead actor Pushkar Jog, who has worked with Pandit on movies including “Well Done Baby” and “Victoria,” stars. Anusha Dandekar, Kushal Badrike, and Shubhangi Gokhale are among the cast members of “Baap Manus,” a satisfying and realistic emotional drama that was filmed in London.

With “Angrezi Medium”
This endearing movie, which was directed by Homi Adajania and was produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande, follows the journey of a father who tries to fulfill his daughter’s ambition of studying abroad. It stars Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and the late Irrfan Khan in the major roles. ‘Angrezi Medium’ is the ideal movie to demonstrate the father-daughter relationship because of its poignant portrayal of a single father’s dedication to his daughter and its emotive acting performances. It is available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar.
