How Karisma collaborated with Madhuri on a dance movie after learning her steps: “It was large.”

Actress Karisma Kapoor takes a trip down memory lane, remembering her days spent working with Madhuri Dixit Nene and “prankster” Suniel Shetty, whom she had always “admired.”
“Her dances have always impressed me,” Karisma said.

On the show’s Instagram account, the actress discussed the two celebrities who are presently judges on the dance-focused reality series “Dance Deewane.”

“I remember coming from school and watching ‘Ek Do Teen’ and trying to do the steps, and then I got a chance to work with her in a dance film,” Karisma said. For me, that was quite significant. Furthermore, spending time on this set with her is always enjoyable and a lot of fun.”

Known as the “Twinkle Toes” of Hindi cinema, Madhuri debuted with the film “Abodh” in 1984. In addition to her acting abilities, she dazzled the audience with her dancing to songs like “Dhak dhak karne laga,” “Ek Do Teen,” “Mera piya ghar aaya,” and “Choli ke peeche,” among many others.
The 1997 movie “Dil Toh Paagal Hai” marked the cinematic debut of Karisma and Madhuri, and it was there that their famous duet “Dance Of Envy” became an immediate smash.

The actress also spoke about her time working with Suniel Shetty on movies in the 1990s, including “Rakshak,” “Gopi Kishan,” and “Krishna,” which included the hit song “Jhanjhariya.”
Suniel would often pull practical jokes on her, as Karisma recounted.

Brother Sunnyel Anna, it was always enjoyable. He used to often pull practical jokes on me. I was always watching him over my shoulder on set to see what he would do next,” the woman said.
