“I Missed That Opportunity,” says Radha Ravi in response to Vijayakanth’s family’s missed call

On December 28, 2023, actor Vijayakanth transitioned into politics. At a Chennai private hospital, he breathed his death. The Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) party was founded by him. At Koyembedu, Chennai, the DDMK headquarters, Vijayakanth’s corpse was burned. The actor was honoured by a number of well-known figures from the Indian cinema industry, and his remains were interred at Chennai’s Island Grounds. In the midst of all, Radha Ravi’s interview on Vijayakanth is now becoming viral. The politician-actor Radha Ravi apologized in an interview for missing a call from Vijayakanth’s residence while he was still living.

According to Radha Ravi, Vijayakanth went back to his house after his health improved. I received a call from Premalatha inviting me to come visit him in person. But by not answering that phone, I erred. Perhaps I would have seen Vijayakanth in his prime if I had answered that phone. “I missed that opportunity,” Radha Ravi remarked in a NewsGlitz Tamil interview. When he went to pay respects to Vijaayakanth, he said that Premalatha informed him of this.

Radha Ravi declared Vijayakanth his beloved. He spoke about his friendship with that person. Together, the two have acted in several films. Radha Ravi has appeared in many supporting parts in movies starring Vijayakanth. Among them are films such as En Aasai Machan, Gajendra, Pulan Visaranai, Vaidehi Kathirunthal, and others. He went on to say that throughout the years, their deep connection grew as a result of their shared work environment. Although the two had conflicts often, their relationship was never damaged by them. “Vijayakanth would come meet me at the location where I was performing. “I’ll visit him at his shooting location,” Radha Ravi said.
