Jake Gyllenhaal: Working with Conor McGregor was both an honour and a terrifying experience

In their new movie “Roadhouse,” Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal and UFC champion Conor McGregor are poised to square off in the ring. This recreated movie, which is based on the script of the cult hit “Road House” from the 1980s, was written by David Lee Henry and Hilary Henkin. It promises the ideal balance of drama and action.

Even though they are antagonistic towards one another in the movie, Gyllenhaal and McGregor seem to be one other’s greatest supporters off-screen. The Hollywood actor thanked the UFC fighter for the chance to work with him ahead of the movie’s premiere, saying, “Conor is a legend, and I was glad and honoured to work with him and perform fight sequences with him.and just as afraid. We wanted a character that you really thought might defeat Dalton, and Conor’s portrayal of Knox provided just that.”
McGregor, for his part, complimented Gyllenhaal on his professionalism and saw an intriguing parallel in their professional paths. “Jake has a record of 75 films, and I have a record of 75 pub fights,” he said. Together, we were the ideal match.
Gyllenhaal plays former UFC fighter Dalton in the Prime Video film.
