Mahira Khan Talks About Her Wedding To Salim Karim And Addresses Pregnancy Rumors

Mahira dismissed the unfounded pregnancy rumors and said that her recent weight increase may have been the cause. She also brought up additional untrue reports that have been going around about her leaving an OTT series and a big movie project.

“Oh, I see. I’m expecting. It’s only a rumor, nothing strange. I’m not sure how they came up with that; I assume it has to do with my weight gain, but they also said that I left a big movie and a Netflix series, among other things. Thus, yes, but that’s untrue,” the actress said.

When asked about her emotions for her partner, Mahira was reluctant at first but ultimately opened herself. She said that one thing about her spouse that bothers her is how restrained he is when it comes to expressing his feelings. “I detest his lack of expressiveness, but I also accept it. Alright, no. While he like the music to be on constantly, I sometimes want it to be off. He seems to want the music on as soon as he wakes up, and I like hearing the sound of birds. That’s nice. What am I passionate about? I like that he puts up with my preference for eating breakfast by myself.”

Mahira also emphasized the need of women having financial freedom. She urged women to seek out income-generating opportunities, whether they were in regular office settings or remotely. The actress emphasised the bravery and power that women possess, advising people to value self-love and recognise their achievements.
