Mohit Raina remembers an elderly admirer who touched his feet and said I was a medium who could communicate with God

Mohit Raina is still mostly recognized by his fans as Lord Shiva, even though he has noteworthy roles in films like Uri, Kaafir, Shiddat, and Mrs. Serial Killer in his resume. He played the Hindu god in the TV show Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, which not only propelled him to sudden fame but also forged a close bond with his followers.

Raina revealed a touching occurrence that made him understand the significant connection he had established between his followers and the divine during a conversation with Ranveer Allahabadi. He described how once a senior citizen came up to him and touched his feet out of respect. She claimed that he had no right to stop her from giving her respect when he tried to discourage her by pointing out that she belonged to his grandmother’s generation.

Mohit remembered, “She said, ‘I am not touching your feet.'” You are the perfect conduit for me to communicate with my God. You cannot prevent me from reaching out to him spiritually during those little moments. I finally gave up on that day after realizing I was merely a conduit for them. I am unable to stop them from making that link.

When asked about his views about energy, Mohit Raina recalled a time when he passed out while a performance was being filmed. He said that it happened during a scenario in which his character was required to yell angrily while holding out his arms. He opened his lips widely to mimic the yell because he wasn’t meant to make any noise for a wide shot, depriving his brain of oxygen in the process. “At that point, I stopped breathing, depriving my brain of oxygen. I lost my balance on the floor since that time was longer than usual. After a little period of unconsciousness, I came to, and I knew what had occurred,” he said.

Shiddat is where Mohit Raina was last seen.
