“Never be afraid” is the life lesson Helen Mirren’s mother taught her

As she approaches her 80th birthday, Hollywood actress Helen Mirren has spoken about the life lessons her mother provided her, which has helped to explain why she has “never been afraid” of growing older.

After more than 40 years in the entertainment industry, Mirren is still regarded as one of Hollywood’s most beloved performers. She said to E! News, “It’s nature; it’s what happens.” Additionally, as they say, becoming older brings with it a certain type of insight and comprehension of that truth.

The actress said, “The best advice I ever received from my mother was to never be afraid of growing older,” according to femalefirst.co.uk.

Teens could believe that middle age is like a “foreign country,” according to Mirren.

“Of course, when you’re 18, middle age is like a foreign country,” the actress said. You are so far away from it. However, as soon as you get there, you realize how wonderful the nation is.

“Perhaps you prefer that nation than the one you left behind. I can only advise not to worry about becoming older. It’s awesome.

The Academy Award–winning actress also believes that people should be more willing to accept “challenges” that may terrify them since life is about “taking risks.”
