No ‘M:I’ Woman Is Ever Seen In A Bikini, Unlike Bond Girls: Vanessa Kirby

After appearing in the 2018 film “Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” Vanessa Kirby, who will next be seen in Tom Cruise’s action-thriller “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” has declared that no female in the “Mission: Impossible” series will be seen in a bikini.

The 35-year-old actor has reportedly said that things have changed from the era of Bond ladies, who were often seen sporting different sorts of bikinis in the spy-thriller series movies.

But when it comes to their roles in “M:I 7,” including those of Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, and Pom Klementieff, she claims that viewers will “barely even see a wrist” of them, much alone a bikini.

The actress said: “The best journey of movies is when you have this really immersive, intense experience as a family, and obviously I’ve been in the last one, so being together again is lovely,” as quoted by FemaleFirst on ITV’s “Lorraine.”

There are some outstanding ladies in here, she said. Our sisterhood, which includes Pom Klementieff, Rebecca Ferguson, and Hayley Atwell, has become quite close. They simply have such fierceness. I doubt that you even notice our wrists, much less a bikini. We wouldn’t wear a bikini in any of these movies.

Tom Cruise’s stunt work in “Dead Reckoning Part One” is one of the film’s most impressive aspects, and it has astounded viewers as well as the cast and crew. Some have previously expressed concern for the actor’s safety because of his insistence on performing all the risky stunts alone, saying they worry he will suffer serious harm or even pass away.

Speaking about the stunt work performed by the ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ actor, Vanessa said that Tom shot the scene eight times in a single day, leaving the team “shaking” out of concern that anything may go wrong.

All of us were more terrified than he was. He was so calm and focused. He just adores it. It’s fun to see him constantly outdo himself.

‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two’ is scheduled for release in June 2024, and Vanessa revealed that Tom has been shooting an even more terrifying stunt in advance of that filming.
