On Allu Arjun’s 42nd birthday, the makers of “Pushpa 2: The Rule” release a teaser

On Monday, the highly awaited movie “Pushpa 2: The Rule” released its trailer in honor of 42-year-old main actor Allu Arjun.

“Pushpa 2: The Rule,” which is helmed by Sukumar, is a sequel to “Pushpa 1: The Rise,” which established a confrontation between the title character, played by Arjun, and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil’s inspector Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

The trailer was posted on Mythri Movie Makers’ official X page, a production banner. The movie, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, will be released on August 15.

“Rejoice in his coming. Love the fire inside him. Feel the chills. Get the #Pushpa2TheRuleTeaser today. Cheers to Icon Star @alluarjun’s birthday! The message said, “THE RULE BEGINS on 15th AUG 2024.”

At midnight, Arjun welcomed supporters to his Hyderabad home and thanked them for their love and support.

“Thank you very much for wishing me a happy birthday, everyone! I have so much thankfulness in my heart. I hope you will accept this teaser as my token of gratitude. He wrote a caption for the “Pushpa 2: The Rule” teaser in an X post.

A press statement states that the 1.08-minute clip includes the “jaathara” segment from the forthcoming movie.

Telangana celebrates “Jaathara,” sometimes referred to as “Sammakka Saralamma Jaathara,” as a festival honoring the Hindu tribal deities.

Rich in color and tradition, the teaser features Arjun’s Pushpa Raj, dressed in a sari, jewels, and cosmetics, wielding a trident and battering opponents to the upbeat soundtrack by music composer DSP during the ‘jaathara’ festival.

The protagonist may have had a changed avatar in the initial teaser for the sequel, but his style is still the same.

In the film “Pushpa 1: The Rise,” the ascent of Arjun, a low-wage laborer, in the red sandalwood smuggling network—a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh state—was shown.

On December 17, 2021, it was launched in India in collaboration with Muttamsetty Media. It went on to generate nearly Rs 350 crore, making it one of the year’s top moneymakers.

In addition, the movie made Arjun a pan-Indian celebrity and brought him his first National Award for Best Actor. In addition, composer DSP received his first-ever National Award for “Pushpa: The Rise.”
