Recalling Anil Kapoor’s wise words, Akshay Oberoi said, “People will forget you even if you are Amitabh Bachchan or Anil Kapoor.”

In the newly released movie “Fighter,” director Sidharth Anand and actor Akshay Oberoi reunited. Leading parts in the film were also played by Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Singh Grover. In a recent interview, Akshay spoke about his feelings of seeing Deepika on screen again after a long break as well as the guidance he got from Anil Kapoor while filming “Fighter.”

Speaking with News18, Akshay expressed his gratitude to the filmmaker for keeping him in mind, saying that Siddharth has given him such a lovely part in the movie. Siddharth was providing him an opportunity to showcase his ability, keeping his word. The pair previously contributed to the OTT show “Flesh.”
Speaking about his interactions with the renowned cast of “Fighter,” Akshay said he is the least well-known member of the group. “Everyone knows Karan Singh Grover, Hrithik, Anil Kapoor, and Deepika.”

Akshay remembered the moment when he realized he wanted to be a Bollywood actor. The actor, who was raised in New Jersey, dreamed of becoming an actor since he was twelve years old. At the age of 13, he began performing in local theater, Morristown. His father once brought him to see the movie “Kaho Naa Pyar Hai,” which starred Hrithik Roshan, and predicted that the actor would become a Bollywood celebrity.

Akshay made the decision to go to India with the intention of becoming an actor there at the time. “There wasn’t anyone like me in America; at least in India, I could just relate to what I see on screen,” he said.

After appearing in brief roles in “Piku” and “Thar,” Akshay spoke about his reunions with Deepika and Anil Kapoor. “They’ve seen me slowly climbing up,” he adds. I now play a major, supporting part in this high-profile film.

Akshay expressed his gratitude to Anil Kapoor for his insightful counsel, which was to “keep working till the end of time.” Take no breaks, no matter what kind of role you play—ugly, nasty, pleasant, or extremely excellent.
