Remain fortunate: Pakistani celebrity Mahira Khan with Arijit Singh during a singer’s performance in Dubai

The Indian musician Arijit Singh sang “whirling in joy, surrounded by love” on Monday, and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who saw the performance over the weekend in Dubai, expressed her happiness about it. Arijit, who is well-known for songs like “Tum Hi Ho,” “Raabta,” “Kabira,” and “Chaleya,” gave a live performance on Sunday at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena.

Prior to this, a social media video with Arijit expressing his regret to Mahira for not recognizing her during the concert went viral.

The actor was singing the song “Zaalima” from Mahira’s 2017 Bollywood debut film “Raees” when the singer saw him among the audience, but she was unable to recognize her. He then acknowledged Mahira, who was seated in one of the arena’s front rows, with a shout-out.

“I know you guys are shocked, should I tell? I ought to make a polite disclosure of it. Is the camera allowed to be there? I was attempting to identify this individual when I realized that I had performed a song for her. Mahira Khan is seated just in front of me, ladies and gentlemen,” Arijit said.
“Remember that I was singing “Zaalima,” one of her songs, and she was standing and singing along, but I was unable to identify her. I really apologize. “Gratitude and thank you so much, Ma’am,” he said.

Then, Mahira—who is also well-known in India for her drama serials from Pakistan, such as “Humsafar” and “Sadqay Tumhare”—was seen grinning and waving at the camera.
Shah Rukh Khan, the lead actor in “Raees,” was accompanied by Arijit, while Harshdeep Kaur sung the role of Mahira in “Zaalima.” Pritam composed the song, while Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics.
