Meena, also known as Meena Sagar, debuted as a child performer in the 1982 movie Nenjangal, costarring with Sivaji Ganesan. She collaborated with well-known actors like Superstar Rajinikanth on movies like Enkeyo Ketta Kural and Anbulla Rajinikanth, showcasing her skill and adaptability even more.

Hits like Navayugam, En Rasavin Manasile, Santhwanam, Rajeswari Kalyanam, Chanti, Veera, Muthu, and others helped Meena succeed as a main actress. Even with her successful career, Meena answered the questions that kept coming up about her refusal to do flashy parts. Prabhu Deva reportedly suggested that she get into riskier and more glamorous films, but Meena acknowledged that she was uncomfortable in such parts and felt timid. She related a moment when she was uncomfortable with the notion of wearing a bathing outfit and couldn’t bring herself to leave the makeup area.

The ensemble cast of Meena’s most recent endeavor, the Prithviraj Sukumaran-directed Malayalam movie Bro Daddy, included Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and others. When it was released on Disney+ Hotstar, an over-the-top platform, the movie attracted notice for its impressive cast and captivating plot.
