Trade Talk: Rajkummar Rao-Janhvi Kapoor’s Mr. and Mrs. Mahi Takes Over, Varun Dhawan’s Baby John Gets Postponed
Since the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, there have been changes to the movie release schedule.
The most recent upcoming movie to withdraw from consideration is Varun Dhawan’s intense action movie Baby John, which was helmed by Atlee’s assistant Kalees and scheduled for release on May 31. Dhawan has a fantastic chance to reestablish his precarious position with Baby John.
It seems that Jio Studios, the film’s producers, and Varun decided together to release the movie after the elections.
Quick to spot an opportunity, Janhvi Kapoor and Raj Kummar Rao star in the lovely love story Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, which is being directed by Sharan Sharma, who previously helmed Janhvi in her best work to date Gunjan Saxena. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and its co-producer Zee Studios have announced the film’s release date.
It’s interesting to note that Rajkummar Rao would get a double benefit in May since the highly anticipated Srikanth film, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, is also scheduled for release in same month. at a nutshell, Rao excels at both.
