Unlike Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt doesn’t have elaborate Hollywood plans: Want to Keep Making Movies in India

With “Heart of Stone,” a global espionage thriller co-starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, Alia Bhatt makes her Hollywood debut. The movie, which makes its worldwide Netflix premiere on Friday, stars Alia as Keya, a computing genius.

She was content to take a more supporting role as long as it had depth, despite her habit of playing the protagonist in Bollywood movies. “The way I judge it is if you take the character out of the story and you still have a film, then that character’s not important,” she said in a June interview with The Associated Press.

However, Alia noted that the primary distinction between Bollywood and Hollywood settings is the length of the day. On the sets, both the days and the breaks were shorter. It should be noted that the actress was also pregnant during filming.

‘Heart of Stone’ is, to put it mildly, the icing on the 30-year-old’s cake after she just gave birth to her first kid, went to her first Met Gala, and was selected as the first Indian house ambassador for Gucci. She does not, however, have intricate plans for Hollywood or a move to the US, unlike another prominent figure from Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

“In my opinion, what Priyanka did was really bold and unlike anything anybody has ever done. I don’t believe I could accomplish that, but she’s such an inspiration to every young Indian girl who aspires to be a worldwide icon and celebrity, she remarked. I want to keep making films in India. And I want to be able to take advantage of these exceptional, rare worldwide possibilities.

She said, “I still don’t know what I’m doing.” “We’ll see where it goes from here; it’s just one movie.”
