When Nivedita Bhattacharya, Kay Kay Menon’s wife, Explained Why They Keep Their Marital Life Quiet

Film actor Kay Kay Menon is renowned for his ability to convey powerful personalities. He is regarded as one of Hindi cinema’s best actors. He has made a name for himself in films in other languages outside Bollywood, including Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, and Telugu. The actor has received praise for his work in a number of films, including Black Friday, Haider, Sarkar, Life in a Metro, and Honeymoon Travel Pvt Ltd. With Farzi and Special Ops, he also had a big presence on the OTT platform.

But did you know that Nivedita Bhattacharya, an actress, and Kay Kay Menon are a happy couple? The actor has succeeded in keeping his private affairs out of the public eye.

When Shaadisthan was being promoted in 2021, Nivedita said why the pair decided to keep their marriage low-key. Speaking with the Free Press Journal, she said that it is a part of their lives and that it is unnecessary to bring it up since both of their intentions are for their work to speak for themselves and that their marriage should be known by people who know them. “We didn’t want to yell from a rooftop, ‘Oh we’re a couple, look at us, take our photographs. Only when our job is public are we visible, she added.

The Balika Vadhu actress also discussed how their romance began. The actress said that they were both involved in theater and that Kay Kay Menon and her had become friends after meeting during a play practice. It’s not as if you meet someone on one project and then work with them on another. We were constantly in the same circle, even when we weren’t working together, and that circle eventually turned into love,” she said.

Nivedita also noted that they decided to get married (in 2002) because it was simpler for them to pay rent for one property rather than two separate residences while they were in the beginning stages, suffering, seeking for additional job, and their careers had just began.

Kay Kay Menon is preparing for his forthcoming movie Love All in the meanwhile. The narrative of a father and son playing badminton serves as the basis for the sports drama. Avinash Tiwary’s Bombay Meri Jaan, which is reportedly set to air on Amazon Prime Video next month, is another project he has in the works. Nivedita, on the other hand, will next be seen in Nana Patekar’s The Vaccine War, which is directed by Vivek Aghnihotri.
