When Parineeti Chopra was an intern at YRF, she said, “I would order coffees for Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, and arrange interviews.”

Parineeti Chopra has provided insights into her early days in the film business. She is now receiving plaudits for her portrayal with Diljit Dosanjh in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila. Parineeti talked about her path from interning in YRF’s marketing and PR department to becoming a sought-after performer in a conversation with Raj Shamani on his podcast.

“I did promotions for Rani for Dil Bole Hadippa, Deepika Padukone and Neil Nitin Mukesh for Lafangey Parindey, and Anushka and Shahid Kapoor for their film Badmaash Company,” Parineeti recalled her duties. I would schedule coffee dates and interviews for these actors. Band Baaja Baarat was the last movie I worked on as an intern at the studio.” She said that she is now being interviewed by journalists on her own initiative; during her tenure at YRF, she had organized celebrity interviews for them.

After working with Yash Raj Films for a year and a half, Parineeti resigned from her position. But the call from YRF’s chief, Aditya Chopra, was what ultimately turned her career around. “A few days later, after I left the job, I got a call from Adi, and I wondered why he was calling,” Parineeti said.

After seeing her taped audition with casting director Shanoo Sharma, Aditya saw her potential and showed interest in signing her for a three-film contract with YRF. Parineeti’s career as an actress began with this, and a month later, she made her feature film debut in Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl.

Over the course of her 11-year relationship with YRF, Parineeti gave standout performances in movies such Meri Pyaari Bindu, Hasee Toh Phasee, and Ishaqzaade. She and the studio just split up.
