When Sharon Stone struggles to face her “inner demons,” she is “acting out.”

The actress Sharon Stone remembers a horrific event that happened to her in 2001. She was taken to the hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage, which caused her to take a two-year hiatus from her work. She feels that this hiatus led to her exclusion from the film business for twenty years.

“We’re all trying to confront our demons, and we’re all acting out—me, too—and trying to figure out how to keep getting back up, keep helping people up even if we put them down, and make sure we’re all backup,” Stone said in an interview with Alex Salmond on “Turkish Tea Talk.” Stone also talked candidly about her struggles with mental health.

Stone, a World Health Organization employee, emphasized that 10% of individuals “globally” are experiencing a “mental crisis.”

According to femalefirst.co.uk, she said that rather than depending on political leaders for potentially helpful measures, individuals should attempt to assist themselves.
“To attempt to assert that ‘it must be our leaders,’ whose leader do you believe will be that? The person has to take the lead in this.”

“You have to be resolute, and when will you blow it? Alright, what now? That was two steps back. You must immediately forgive yourself, get back up, gather yourself, support the person you believe you have upset, and go on. Forgive yourself right now.”

When talking about how she uses her celebrity to help underrepresented groups, Stone broke down in tears, especially when mentioning how she took part in an event that promoted global peace.
In addition, she said that she now spends around seventeen hours a day painting and that she has certain requirements when it comes to her acting career—she would only take on parts that are “really powerful and meaningful.”
