Would You Like to Live Next to Big B, Amitabh Bachchan? It Would Cost You Rs. 25 Crores to Become His Neighbor

The Mumbai home next to Amitabh Bachchan’s mansion is for sale. According to reports, the Juhu bungalow, which is opposite Amitabh’s opulent Jalsa mansion, is up for sale with a price tag of Rs 25 crores. Deutsche Bank reportedly placed the mansion up for sale because the present owners were unable to repay the bank-borrowed money, according to Money Control.

The opulent home is reportedly situated on 1,164 square feet. There are 2,175 square feet of open space included. The auction of the mansion is scheduled for March 27. Under the 2002 Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act (SARFAESI), an auction is being held.

According to the report, a warning was delivered to the present owners in April 2022 after their failure to make loan payments. Within two months, they had to pay back the remaining balance of Rs 12.89 crore. The bank has seized custody of the property and is holding an auction since they did not repay it.

It seems that Amitabh’s neighbor’s home is a tiny bit smaller than the famous person’s. Jalsa, which translates to “celebration,” is a duplex home that spans 10,125 square feet, according to a 2021 Vogue India article. It is located near the beach in Juhu. As part of his Sunday Darshan routine, the celebrity sees his followers outside Jalsa, where he spends most of his time. On social media, pictures and videos from the gathering often go viral.

In Mumbai, he also owns a few additional homes. The aforementioned properties include the 8,000 square feet behind Jalsa, his third property Prateeksha, the site of Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s wedding, his workspace Janak, and Vatsa, which is leased to Citibank India.
