Year End 2023: Major Hindi film releases in 2024 are Fighter, Kalki 2898 AD to Merry Christmas, and Emergency

A number of successful movies were released in 2023, including Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol, Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan, and Pathaan and Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan. Bollywood filmmakers have already scheduled a number of movies for release in the next year. We present to you a list of upcoming Hindi films for 2024 as the year draws to a close.

1) Combatant
Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor play the main characters in Sidharth Anand’s film. Sanjeeda Shaikh, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover are also included in the movie. Fighter, a film by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, promises heart-pounding action. Hrithik plays Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, also known as Patty, Deepika plays Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, also known as Minni, and Anil plays Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, also known as Rocky, in the film Fighter. All three play military heroes. Cinemas will screen the movie on January 25, 2024.

2) Singham Once more
The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, has Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh in the key parts. The highly anticipated third installment of the smash successful series is scheduled to debut in theaters on July 4, 2024. The 2011 film Singham, which starred Prakash Raj and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles, was followed by Singham Returns in 2014. Both endeavors were deemed box office successes.

3) Kalki in the year 2898
Nag Ashwin has directed the next sci-fi action movie. Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Disha Patani play the key characters in the movie. January 12, 2024 is when the movie is scheduled to open in theaters. It is anticipated to be a futuristic science fiction spectacle with elements of mythology. Kalki 2898 AD had its world premiere at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), where its striking graphics and innovative premise enthralled viewers.

4) Joyeux Noël
The film, which has Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif in the key roles, is scheduled for release on January 12, 2024. Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan, is a story that defies genres. Merry Christmas has two separate supporting casts and is filmed in two languages. Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, Sanjay Kapoor, and Tinnu Anand co-star in the Hindi adaptation. The roles of Rajesh Williams, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Radhika Sarathkumar are the same in the Tamil version. There will be cameos by Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar.

5) Yodha
The movie, which stars Sidharth Malhotra, will hit theaters on March 15, 2024. Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, a novice team, are the film’s directors. The movie has the support of filmmakers Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan’s Mentor Disciple Films. Shashank, Apoorva Mehta, Karan Johar, and Hiroo Johar produced Yodha. Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna are also featured.

6) Emergencies
The film’s release date has been rescheduled for 2024 and will feature Kangana Ranaut in the role of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana said in a recent post on X that an emergency was decided to be shifted to next year (2024). An updated release window will be revealed shortly. Emergency is the first film that Kangana has directed by herself. Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade are among the other notable actors in the movie.

7) Miyan Bade, Chote Miyan
The director of the next action thriller is Ali Abbas Zafar. The film has Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff, and Akshay Kumar in the key roles. In 2024, on the occasion of Eid, it will be released in theaters. The movie was filmed in the United Arab Emirates, India, Scotland, and London.

8) Greetings from the jungle
The movie, which stars Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshay Kumar, will hit theaters on December 20, 2024. Along with Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, and Shreyas Talpade, the film is directed by Ahmed Khan. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Firoz A Nadiadwallah under Base Industries Group, it has Jio Studios’ support.

9) Dino Metro
Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Fatima Sana Shaikh play the key parts in this anthology film, which is directed by Anurag Basu. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on March 29, 2024. The movie will present poignant stories of modern-day human interactions.

10) Principal Atal Hoon
The late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is the subject of the planned drama biography. The movie opens in theaters on January 19, 2024. Pankaj Tripathi plays the lead in Main Atal Hoon, which is directed by Ravi Jadhav. Both Ravi Jadhav and Rishi Virmani co-wrote the screenplay.
