Building Hit by Explosion in Shumbashi, Tokyo, Causing Four Injuries

According to news sources, an explosion struck a building in Tokyo’s Shimbashi business area on Monday, smashing windows and billowing smoke.

According to Kyodo news, police were looking into the location after getting an emergency call. According to fire department sources quoted by NHK news, four persons were hurt.

The noise was unbearable. An enormous explosion was heard, as if a large object had been thrown from the top of the building, a male eyewitness told national channel NHK.
