“Cousins Ko Choro, Koi Aur Dhoondo”: A satirical advertisement on the Pakistani dating app Muzz becomes viral

Muzz, a dating app in Pakistan, has started a humorous and widely shared campaign encouraging its users to look for matches outside of their relatives. “Cousins ko choro, koi aur dhoondo” is the statement written on a billboard that the corporation has put up in Hindi.

Several X users shared the photographs in their postings, causing the marketing campaign to instantly become global.

With a sarcastic tone, one person wrote, “Ab shaadiyan kam hogi” (there will be fewer marriages today).

“If this starts working, half of Pakistani men will stay single forever,” said a different user.

Muzz is the equivalent of Bumble or Tinder in Pakistan. Shahzad Younas launched the Muslim marriage and dating app in 2015. “Where Single Muslims Meet” and “Where Muslims Meet” are its taglines.
