“No More Trump”: For many Republican women in South Carolina, Nikki Haley is “The One.”

An influential lady with the strength to perhaps unite the US Many Republican women who will be voting in South Carolina’s forthcoming presidential primary support Nikki Haley, Donald Trump’s lone rival.

However, despite the fact that he is the overwhelming favorite and has already won with ease in Iowa and New Hampshire, Trump continues to be the preferred option for many female voters despite the fact that he is the subject of four criminal charges and causes controversy with his crude, even offensive remarks.

Columbia, the state capital, knows Haley well. She was the governor of the Palmetto State, and she expects to do better on Saturday in the primary than what the polls—which now have her 30 points behind Trump—predicted.

“AMAZING PRESIDENT”
54-year-old Connie Gilliam, who supported Haley early in the primary, is certain that she can recover and is full of admiration for Trump’s opponent.

Her tenure as our state’s governor was excellent. She accomplished a lot for South Carolina. Therefore, we just think that she would make an excellent president,” retired teacher Gilliam remarked, praising Haley for her bravery.

She expressed her approval of Haley’s decision to remove the Confederate flag from the legislative building, which erased a reminder of the state’s pro-slavery history from the Civil War, despite her lengthy opposition to the measure.

Gilliam said that Haley is a “kinder person” than Trump and “she will just be better at bringing the country back together.”

Elaine Billie, 72, said that her support for Haley is not primarily based on her gender. Instead, she is content with her 52-year-old as contrasted to Trump’s 77.

Billie said that a Haley campaign commercial that recalled the “chaos” of Trump’s presidency struck a chord with her.

“I’ll admit that I voted for him the previous time. 2020 was the year. But the pandemonium is just too much.

The four charges that Trump is facing, two of which are related to his attempts to rig the election results, she added, “are at the forefront.”

The 28-year-old nurse Mallory Macon is also pleased that Haley is not burdened with the same legal issues as Trump is.

According to Macon, “she is a candidate who, as a person, does not have much drama surrounding her.”

“It seems like she’s attempting to adopt a slightly more moderate stance than Trump has.”

She expressed concern that under Trump, the US could not be able to have free elections and might instead grow to resemble Russia and said that Trump has a potentially autocratic attitude.

Additionally, Macon said that Trump’s comparison of himself to the late Russian opposition hero Alexei Navalny and his claim that he is a victim of political persecution are “completely inappropriate.”

“BETTER QUALIFIED” TRUMP
Despite Trump’s tantrums, Sandie Ellis, 66, said she still voted for him the previous time.

She praised Haley as being bright, youthful, and competent and even thought about supporting her; but, after Trump’s resounding victories in Iowa and New Hampshire, she sided with him.

“I think Trump is maybe more qualified because of the leadership that we really saw in the previous administration,” Ellis said.

“I was definitely pleased with his business sense, but he has a mouth.”

Ellis said that she made a distinction between Trump the leader and Trump the person, who disparages his competitors and makes remarks about the physical attractiveness of women.

She laughed and replied, “Let Melania deal,” alluding to the late first lady Melania Trump.
