Watch: The BTS documentary’s conversation between Jimin and J-Hope makes the army cry

With planned songs, interviews, and their highly anticipated documentary series, BTS has managed to keep their dedicated following, known as the ARMY, well- entertained even during their current sabbatical. The ARMY was moved to tears by the heartfelt discussion between J-Hope and Jimin in a recent BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star episode. The video maintains its general cheerful and lighthearted tone, but this specific piece has touched viewers because it offers a genuine look into the more reflective aspects of the group’s amazing experience.

In the next two parts, the documentary explores a variety of topics, including behind-the-scenes looks at recording sessions, distilling the essence of their American experiences, and delving into conversations about their Permission To Dance performances.

A particularly touching episode has Jimin and J-Hope sitting in a vehicle after the show. As he struggles with his future plans, Jimin asks, “When will we perform again?”

J-Hope answers in a hesitant and obviously reflective manner, saying, “I wish I knew.”

This open moment highlights the uncertainty that first hovered around BTS, perhaps weighing hard on their thoughts after their gigs.

Jimin continues to consider the worst-case situation in the video, saying, “The worst-case scenario is three years later.” J-Hope agrees, highlighting it as the least desirable result.

Even with the difficult situation, Jimin responds, “Right? We return to Korea. We enroll in the military and the show is canceled. After that, we return and do a concert. Three years.

ARMYs have responded profoundly to this emotionally packed video that was shared online. Considering that the video was released at a time when every member of BTS is enlisting, fans are moved by the hope for the future as well as the sobering thought of enlistment. An X user said, “This conversation between hobi and jimin just broke me.” Another said, “This conversation between hobi and jimin,” expressing a similar opinion.

The documentary, which was published a year ago, does a fantastic job of capturing the emotional rollercoaster that BTS experienced throughout some of its most trying moments. Fans and ARMYs across the world are applauding the group for their sincere interactions and shared weaknesses, even though they always put up a unified face of strength and support for ARMYs.

From their modest origins to their current status as a worldwide sensation, BTS Monuments: Beyond the Stars follows the band’s journey and is accessible on Disney Plus Hotstar as of December 20, 2023.

All of the members of BTS are now doing their mandatory military duty with diligence, and they all expect to reunite by the end of 2025.
