486 pupils at Kalakriti Bhawan received awards

As part of the celebrations for “Baal Diwas” in Kurukshetra, students from different schools who competed from October 17 to October 20 of last year were given prizes during a ceremony held at Kalakriti Bhawan. The district council for child welfare was responsible for organising the tournaments.

As the main guest of the event, Kurukshetra City Magistrate Raman Gupta said that children’s confidence was boosted by their involvement in these events. He expressed his appreciation for the efforts being made on behalf of children’s welfare by the Kurukshetra District Council for Child Welfare and said that kids need to put in a lot of effort to succeed in life.

According to Gaurav Rohilla, the district child welfare officer, 486 youngsters were given awards at the event.
