The Pan-Asian eatery Foo has opened a second location in Thane’s Viviana Mall in Mumbai

The Pan-Asian eatery Foo has opened a new location in the Viviana Mall in Thane, Mumbai. This location represents the city’s eighth Foo.

The interiors of Foo Thane embrace opulent simplicity with a fusion of traditional and modern design. The pièce de résistance of the restaurant is a captivating red waffle ceiling that has been skillfully designed to draw attention and create a sense of intrigue. An earthy and peaceful mood is intended to be evoked by the ambient.

The vast 3800 square feet are decorated with shades of calm blue and chic grey, which combine to create a style that blends well with the surrounding environment. The restaurant’s abundant, well-placed flora further immerses patrons in a natural environment. Each area of the restaurant has a focal point that blends in well with the architecture, furnishings, lighting, artwork, and décor.

The goal of this well-thought-out design is to portray to visitors the essence of an ideal way of life. There are traditional meals on the menu that are still popular with patrons. Togarashi Black Rice Maki, La Yu Ban Mein Noodles, Peruvian Lobster Roll, Sriracha Chicken Dumpling, Tenderloin Chilly with Leeks & Onions, and Foo Blue Butter Japanese Fried Rice are a few of the famous dishes.

The restaurant will include dishes like Not a Chicken in Chilli Hot Bean, Cantonese-style Forest Mushroom, Crispy Tofu with Sweet Chilli Sauce, and Plant Protein Dumplings in response to customer demand for vegan choices. Desserts include gluten-free ice cream varieties including mango, black sesame, Japanese matcha, and kaffir lime, or alternatives like Mount Foo-Ji. Black Gold and Berry is a truffle dark chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet that is free of gluten and vegan.

There are some interesting G&Ts on the beverage menu. Each one has a distinct undertone and does a unique job of bringing out the flavor of gin. You must taste the Foo King & Queen since they are the ideal complement to any dish. A cool concoction of gin, coconut liqueur, kokum, and lemon juice is called the Kokum Club. Sake is a must-have to go with the food since this is an Asian tapas restaurant. The menu offers a number of sake options. To really enjoy the Foo experience, you must sample their house-brewed rice beer, known as Foo Brew, which is a favorite among the restaurant’s regulars.

The owners of Pebble Street Hospitality, Keenan and Ryan Tham, said, “As we continue our vision of making Foo accessible to all our guests, this new outlet in Viviana Mall, Thane, marks an exhilarating milestone.” “Thane is a thriving city that is expanding every day. We’ve welcomed customers from Thane throughout the years, and we’re happy to return the favor by bringing Foo directly to their home. We are excited to bring the Foo experience to this vibrant area of the city.”
